Con este volumen se inicia la publicación de una serie de testimonios acerca de los hechos y los hombres de la Revolución mexicana. En su inmensa mayoría totalmente inéditos, abarcan los años de 1910 a 1920. La integran el archivo del primer jefe Venustiano Carranza, más otros papeles que ha seleccionado un equipo de investigadores bajo la dirección de Isidro Fabela.
