The domestic architecture reflects a higher purchasing power with an appreciation oh natural surroundings, the office and industrial buildings are aimed some at rescuing the historic downtown area while others were constructed in the suburban area of the city. Situation Room, el proyecto de Pablo de Soto y hackitectura.net propuso el despliegue de una sala de situación para la sociedad civil en Laboral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial de Gijón. La instalación cuenta con los elementos escénicos propios de estas arquitecturas -ordenadores en una gran mesa circular, proyecciones, paneles de control- y sus sistemas están diseñados para monitorizar un territorio específico y su realidad en el contexto global.
