Jorge Mañach y Robato (Sagua la Grande, 1898-San Juan de Puerto Rico, 25 de junio de 1961). Cuba. Escritor, periodista, ensayista y filósofo, autor de una biografía de José Martí y de numerosos ensayos filosóficos. Se graduó de Filosofia y Letras por la Universidad de Harvard (1920) en la que trabajó, amplió sus estudios en París (Universidad de Droit, 1922) y regresó a La Habana en 1924, terminando allí sus doctorados en Derecho Civil y en Filosofía y Letras. Colaboró con la revolución de 1933 y en la resistencia contra Batista. Vivió en Cuba en 1959, y en 1960 se fue a vivir ...
