An introductory study to Behavioral Economics, that parts from the observation of the limitations inside the dominant economic model- the Homo Economicus-, showing how the decisions of the agents not only depend on the cost-benefit valuations and that there are other determining factors like the cognitive, the psychological and the social. There is also a review of the main models on this topic in order to understand the human conduct, as well as into what extent it is a useful tool in complementing the traditional studies and be the solution to big social issues.
