Hay una obra inmensa, compleja, abismal, polifacética: se trata de la filmografía de Ingmar Bergman. De todos estos atributos me quedo con el último: obra polifacética. La diversidad de caras suele pensarse como orientaciones distintas y hasta asimilarse a una cierta dispersión del sentido. Recusa estas atribuciones la imagen del poliedro, que le es directa y certeramente asociada. Hay entonces, una entidad que justifica y explica las múltiples caras, a la vez que las requiere para su existencia.
