What is so seductive about the idea of escaping? Why do we all feel the desire to flee and only few dare to fulfill it? In this novel, Norma Knot introduces us to four possible artists of escapism: Sofia, a woman caught in her own melancholy that is not able to run away from herself; Carmelo, an old escapist that is able to break away from a magic box while he continues to be trapped in a tortuous relationship; Sebastian, a former prodigy boy trying to forget the disillusion that he caused his parents and, finally, a Bengala tiger that escapes from its captivity causing chaos in the city. The possibility to escape is the only thing that maintains those four alive which reminds us of Harry Houdini, who acted his own confinement only to be able to escape from it. The encounter between Sofia and the infuriated animal will cause an unexpected outcome. All of them flee but, apparently, only one of them will manage to escape. En esta novela, Norma Lazo nos presenta a cuatro posibles artistas de la fuga: Sofa, una mujer atrapada en su propia melancola que no consigue huir de s misma; Carmelo, un viejo escapista que logra fugarse de una caja de magia mientras sigue atrapado en una relacin tortuosa; Sebastin, un ex nio prodigio intentando olvidar la desilusin que les caus a sus padres y, finalmente, un tigre de Bengala que huye de su cautiverio causando caos en la ciudad. La posibilidad de huir es lo nico que mantiene vivos a los cuatro -lo que trae a cuento a Harry Houdini, quien actuaba su propio encierro slo para poder huir de l. El encuentro entre Sofa y el animal enfurecido provocar un desenlace inesperado. Todos huyen pero, al parecer, slo uno de ellos lo lograr.
