As thousands of other Latin Americans, the Marin family immigrated to the US in search of a better life. With no knowledge of the English language, no scholarships or other benefits, Rosario braved her way through our competitive society. Her life story, set amidst some truly tragic events, is a statement to a life of perseverance, commitment, trust, and love.
